10/7 The Dirty Saint: Paso Robles. 55 mi. Dirty Saint, 4,000 elev. gain; 85 mi. Extra Dirty Saint, 6,7000 ft. elev. gain. From the start, you head west through the Santa Lucia Coastal Mountains for a stunning mixed surface gravel ride. A mix of singletrack, pavement, & gravel. Approx 25% dirt and 75% road. 10/7 Grizzly Gravel & Century rides: North Fork. Paved century w/10,000 ft. elev. gain; metric: 6,600 elev. gain. 24 mi. Loop the Lake 1,800 ft. elev. gain. 57 mi. long gravel ride w/5,600 ft. elev. gain. Short gravel ride is 36 mi, 3,700 elev. gain. 9/17 XTERRA Lake Tahoe: Sand Harbor State Park, Nevada. Classic off-road tri. Start with a 1,500 mtr. lake swim. The bike starts up tunnel creek, a sandy gradual climb. Racers pop out from Tunnel Creek onto the area’s epic Flume Trail, which skirts the mountainside overlooking Lake Tahoe. Riders continue on past Marlette Lake and down the rocky & fast Tahoe Rim Trail. The full course, Sprint, and Aquabike complete the 22 mi. bike with approximately 4,000 ft. of climbing. The running course is a 5K lap featuring a relatively flat scenic course winding through aspens, pines with a few creek crossings. T-shirt, BBQ, cold beverages, finishers' medal, awards.
