Mountain Bike Races

10/17-8 Hollister Hills MTB Race: Hollister. Mountain bike racing on Saturday and trail running on Sunday. The ride will be in the Upper ranch 4 wheel drive area. Pre-reg.: Members of the South Valley Bike and Run Club, $35. Nonmembers, $40. USA Cycling sanctioned MTB racing, so bring your license. The start site is located at 7800 Cienega Rd. 10/24 Sierra Foothills Fall Finale: Granite Oaks School, Rocklin. Test your ability on a unique time trial section of the ride with official timing by Synergy or just watch and cheer on those taking the challenge! Live music by local band "Submerg" will help motivate you to the end of the climb. 25, 50, 75 and 100 mi. courses. Pre-reg.: 25, $45; 50, 75, 100 mi. $85, by 10/20; add $10 to each reg. after.
