10/2 Sawtooth Ridge Challenge, Sierra Cup Series #7: Northstar-at-Tahoe, Truckee. Final race of the Sierra Cup Series. Northern California Nevada Regional Champions determined. 9/24 The Great Lake Tahoe Bike Race: Zephyr Cove, NV. 72 mi. around the lake and 35 mi. Tahoe City to Zephyr Cove. Orientation mtg at Horizon Casino. Pre-reg.: $140 by 9/23, less various discounts. 10/1 Central Coast Circuit Races 2011, #10: Monterey. 4.3 mi. course on completely closed roads- no yellow line rule in effect. Road surface is good and the course features long straights, false flat sections, rolling hills, downhill's, with a few twisting turns mixed in. Slight uphill finish.
